Megatrends Afrika Fellowship

Every year, Megatrends Afrika awards three fellowships to African researchers.

During the three-month fellowship, recipients are hosted at one of three institutions: the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin, the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) in Bonn, or the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in Kiel. Throughout their stay, fellows gain first-hand experience of the host institution's daily work, while independently developing a policy brief based on their research.
